Meet the Pastor

Kendall Williams

Pastor Kendall and his wife Sissy are originally from Darlington, SC. They have a heart for loving God’s people and a desire to see them grow in the fullness of God’s plan and destiny for their lives. Pastor Kendall had spent 25 years in the steel industry prior to the Lord’s call for him to be in full-time ministry. He graduated from Master’s Divinity School in Edmonds, IN and then proceeded to pursue his calling to full-time ministry. He became the Associate Pastor at First Church of God in Darlington, and while serving there, Pastor Kendall and Sissy felt God’s call to become church planters. After prayer and seeking God's will in their decision, they accepted the opportunity given them by Carolina Ministries to become the planting pastors of Grand Strand Community Church and moved to the Grand Strand in August of 2005. Together, they began sharing God’s love to the people of the Myrtle Beach area and started growing the congregation of GSCC. They have three grown children and one grandchild. Pastor Kendall loves to hunt, fish, enjoys college football and especially spending time with his wife. Sissy loves spending time on the beach, cooking, shopping with friends and spending time with their first grandbaby.
