 
Kingdom Kids is the Children’s Ministry here at Grand Strand Community Church. Each Sunday morning, Kingdom Kids provides an exciting, fun, safe and interactive environment where kids ages 5 years through 5th grade can come to learn about God’s Word while being cared for by quality staff. We strongly believe in partnering with our families, assisting parents to spiritually grow the lives of their children. It’s awesome! It’s fun! It’s Kingdom Kids!

Message:
"Prayer is powerful"
For many kids, prayer is just a shopping list they give to God, a recited poem, or an opportunity
to mention all their loved ones. They really are not sure why they pray, or what happens when
they pray. For other kids, no one has ever taught them to pray and they have no idea why they
should start. If they do pray, they wonder if God really hears them. Prayer is powerful. When
these kids pray, God is going to do something.

Message:
"God requires your obedience"
In this lesson, we want to teach the kids that the only way their love for God can be measured
is through their obedience. If they really want to show God how much they love Him, it doesn’t
come from how many hours they pray or how often they go to church. The true test of their
love for God is whether they obey Him or not. In John 14: 15 Jesus says, “If you love me, you
will obey what I command.” God requires obedience from us as a way to show Him how much we love Him. We cannot say we love him and not obey Him.
